At the same time, buying shares of venture fund is less risky for investors than direct venture investing through diversification and control over the development of portfolio companies carried out by an experienced management company.

MC Sberinvest manages seven venture capital funds, two industry funds and three real estate funds. The cost of assets of funds managed by MC Sberinvest is more than 7B RUR (including foreign fund managed by a subsidiary); the amount of funds given investors’ obligations is more than 10B RUR.

Oleg Dyachenko, a member of the Board of MC Sberinvest CJSC comments on the start of trading shares of Tver Oblast venture fund: In accordance with our strategy, we give priority to projects, which products and technologies meet the needs of our innovation partners and customers. This approach significantly reduces venture capital investment risks due to guaranteed sales.
