A restaurant accelerator Place 2.0 to launch in Moscow
Local Food Festival and Smartomato delivery service announced the launch of a restaurant accelerator Place 2.0. It is a support program for novice restaurateurs, which is aimed at the development of catering startups.
Now every city food market will have a specially invited expert to select projects for the acceleration programme. He or she will be working with a food startup team for three months to compose its menu, set up technological processes, make a business plan and to search for a suitable location for doing business. The participation in the program will result in successful launch of projects.
The first food accelerator participants are The Burger Brothers and Srabs are coming, which works on the concept of a pop-up cafe on Novoslobodskaya Station. Alexey Gisak, Wokker founder, became the mentor of the projects.
The next selection of applicants for the programme will take place on June 29 at the third city food market, Sokol Station.
