MCI Management invests $5M in service Travelata.ru
Polish group MCI Management invested $5M in Russian Startup Travelata.ru through the intermediary – Czech company Invia.cz, which also organizes European tours. Funds will be directed for consolidation of Travelata.ru position on Russian online tour reservation Market.
Travelata.ru is a tour building company making opportunity for its clients to place an order through remote access – make payment, draw booking confirmation and receive further support on email. Tours may be of various kinds – from city breaks to beach or touristic trips.
The Startup has already attracted investors` attention - $50K from a famous expert on internet-marketing and entrepreneur Bas Godska, and $500K from Altair Group Igor Ryabenky and Invia.cz
“We use big company way of thinking in our business, establish business processes. Every client`s application is responded by a brand letter, and all the answers are received in time, - says Aleksey Zaretsky, co-founder of Travelata.ru – We use our own CRM-system, where all sales managers work. It is a great investment in technology”.
According to Zaretsky, Invia not only suggests investment, but also became a real Russian service partner – transfers its know-how and technologies: “They gave us the CRM-system, which has been developed for 10 years, and we have adapted it to Russian realias”.
