Citi opens in Israel an accelerator for financial Startups

International financial giant Citi announced about a creation of the first accelerator in Israel for Startups of financial sector.

For four months, during which the accelerator program will be conducted, the Startups will receive an access to all the resources of the Citi, including international. Start is planned for the end of 2013, when accelerator will include 5-10 companies. It is noted that accelerator does not take equity in Startups.

Ornit Schneur will head the accelerator, and physically it will be located in Israel technological innovation center Citi under the control of Lyron Wahrmann.

Israel technological innovation center Citi develops algorithms of trading platforms, mobile trading solutions, diversification of risks platforms and others.
