Forest Patrol developers unlock Latin AmericaNizhny Novgorod-based RMS, the local developer of a sophisticated forest fire prevention system, has shaken hands with a Bolivian company on marketing across Latin America.

Nizhny Novgorod-based Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), the local developer of a sophisticated forest fire prevention system called ?Forest Patrol,? told Marchmont yesterday that it has signed agreements with Petgroop International, a sizable company in La Paz, Bolivia. The press release came just days after Marchmont News published its feature story on this Nizhny Novgorod project (please see the Feature Stories section on our home page). According to RMS, the two agreements were signed during a business visit of a Petgroop International delegation to Nizhny Novgorod. The Bolivian firm is said to represent interests of large entities in that country, including COFADENA (Bolivia?s Armed Forces corporation for national development) and Quimbabol (the largest chemical company).
