Konstantin Artemyev, an inventor from Astrakhan in the Lower Volga and the CEO of his own company Bravo Motors, has developed what he?s dubbed ?eTrike,? a transformable electric car, The Astrakhan Post reported last week. The new car is said to have its batteries charged from an ordinary wall outlet in a house, which is purportedly enough to drive up to 70 kilometers. The car can run at a speed of up to 90 km/h, a good enough speed for a city. In addition, it is reported to be able to climb over 20cm high pavement edge slabs and reduce its size when parked. The car can even be controlled with a joystick or from a tablet PC, the inventor claims. Mr. Artemyev believes his eTrike can be very useful in larger cities, especially for physically handicapped drivers.
