Moscow Innovation Development Center and RVC have combined the best Russian S

Semifinalists of the contest “Business of Innovation Technologies” (BIT) will get access to the educational project, which should positively influence at its investment perspectives. Organizers of the contest-accelerator are RVC and the Moscow Innovation Development Center with support of the Department of science, industrial policy, and entrepreneurism.

Educational-acceleration program Generation S is organized by two stages. At the first stage 70 teams challenge online course on technological entrepreneurism elements. Is consists of 12 seminars, devoted to transaction processing, legal questions, including copyright protection, attraction of investments, and also methods of the project development. Seminars are held by entrepreneurs and leading experts of Russian and International companies from various spheres of business.

According to deputy of director general of the Moscow Innovation Development Center Yekaterina Bulycheva, educational course serves a field before participants come to Moscow for residential sessions. “The first stage of semifinalists` education – lectures, which are possible to be visited individually or watch online. This is an intense course on various problems of innovation business management, where participants can get excellent theoretical training before the acceleration program starts, at which mentors and experts will help teams to “pack a Startup proper”, - said she.

Gulnara Bikkulova, director of the Innovations market Department of RVC, has underlined that the acceleration program Generation S will allow increasing the amount of investment –suitable projects. “In recent years innovations infrastructure in Russia actively developed, but speed of increasing amount of qualitative Startups does not provide needs of Russian investors in perspective projects. In order to try to solve this problem we have launched pilot project Generation S. Participants of the contest will get a unique opportunity to improve its project till the level, which is interesting to investors, and on the whole it positively influences investment perspectives of finalists”.

In October, 6 there will start the second on-site stage of the contest. All the projects, which have had an educational course, will gather in Moscow for the acceleration stage conduction. During two weeks Startups will work at development of their projects on API Moscow. Under the same roof will gather Startups, investors and experts, business-angels and mentors, and also global guru of venture business.

According to the results of the final rating of participants, there will be selected winners of the contest. Then business-trainers will work under development of the projects` presentation skills and communication with potential investors. The best graduates of accelerator will present their projects to wide audience and specialized investors in November, 1 at the main thematic event of the year – Moscow International Forum “Open Innovations”. During this day at the solemn gala-dinner of the Forum will be conducted a ceremony of winners awarding: participants will get prizes from partners, and will share the prize fund in amount of 5M RUB.
