GLONASS poised to enter the Emirati automotive market

Russia?s Mobile Satellite Systems (MSS) GLONASS is considering taking the GLONASS global satellite navigation technology to the United Arab Emirates.

Mobile Satellite Systems (MSS) GLONASS, a Moscow-headquartered developer and manufacturer of monitoring equipment based on Russia?s GLONASS global satellite navigation technology, is making inroads into the booming automotive market in the United Arab Emirates. MSS GLONASS is nearing the finalization of a strategic partnership deal with a ?leading transportation company in the UAE,? East-West Digital News, the international resource on Russian digital industries, reported earlier this week, citing RNSinfo, a Russian website covering developments in the domestic navigation sector. Neither the name of the company nor any terms of cooperation have been disclosed at this point.
