Russian Innovations Week opened in Boston

Russian Innovations Week opened in Boston Russian businessmen and officiaries, Startupers and venture capitalists gathered in Thursday in Boston on the opening of Russian Innovations Week (RIW) within the limits of which American investors can get acquainted with Russian projects.

The conference organizers, which will be held till September, 20, are Rosnano, RVC and the Fund Skolkovo. It is organized under the aegis of working group on innovations of Russian-American bilateral presidential committee. Its projects within the limits of a RIW will present 65 Russian Startups.

As a part of Russian delegation – state secretary – deputy ministry of economy development of RF Oleg Fomichev, deputy Minister of communications and mass media Mark Shulevich, Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, governor of Krasnoyarsk region Leg Kuznetsov, and also Head of department of science, industrial policy and entrepreneurism of Moscow Aleksey Komissarov.

At the conference will speak: USA ambassador in Russia Michael McFaul, special representative of USA State Department on commercial and business tasks Lorraine Hariton, director general of RVC Igor Agamirzyan, president of the Fund Skolkovo Viktor Vekselberg, head of Rosnano Anatoly Chubais.

Besides the main program, at Russian Innovation Week are planed special events for business angels, investors and representatives of Russian corporations. At this conference-session will be discussed experience of American partners in the sphere of preparation and conduction of deals, implementation, and commercialization of innovation technologies, joint investment in technological project.
