Startup InMyRoom attracted $500K

Startup in the sphere of interior and house goods InMyRoom.ru received $500K within the limits of the first round from Russian private investment Fund, which owns International business expertise in the sphere Home D?cor. Financing consultant in the deal became the company April Capital. Deals terms and name of the Fund-investor at the moment are not disclosed.

Service InMyRoom.ru allows users finding photos of interior examples or goods for home in articles, and shows where to buy it.

During the project existence, since July 2012, more than 20 thousand of users have registered at this site, including more than a thousand professional designers and architectures, and 600 companies. Monthly audience of the site exceeds 500 thousand unique visitors.

Representative of the investor noted two main factors, which effected decision about investment in Startup: clear business-model, which has already recommended itself in Europe and USA, and the fact, that founders of the project – successful entrepreneurs with experience in Internet-business more than 10 years. “Besides, equipment and d?cor goods are one of the most fast-growing segments of e-commerce in Russia. Unique content of InMyRoom.ru allows choosing, and in future buying not only goods for house, but also ready interior solutions”, - also noted investor.

Founders of the project became popular entrepreneurs in the sphere of Internet-marketing and advertising Ivan Khmelevsky (co-founder RealWeb) and Adelya Khmelevskaya (co-founder Media stars).

The following second round of investments is already discussed, which is planned to realize in the near future. At the moment there are negotiations with a range of large Funds.
