Zhigulevskaya Dolina, a high-tech techno-park in Togliatti, in the Volga area some 75km west of the city of Samara, is expected to finally open in November this year after several delays, innovation news portal reported, citing a statement by Alexander Kobenko, the Samara regional minister of economic development. The techno-park broke ground in 2010. Under plans, it would cover a total area of 55,400 square meters and become home to more than 70 residents, of which half would do IT. There are residents of the future park already, including international ones, such as China?s Huawei and France?s BIA. The first stage of the project was to have been completed in late 2011.
