The venture fund establishment in the Omsk region is planned for the year 2014, as informed the region Government. The Fund’s work will be directed on investments in the capital of small innovation companies.
According to the governor of the region Viktor Nazarov, innovations require resources, and more precisely, mechanisms of its attraction, and venture capital in this concern is one of the most preferable variants: “For 1 ruble of venture fund budget money it is possible to attract 3 rubles of federal and extra-budgetary money. Such fund with minimal volume in amount of 400M RUB will become a serious support for innovations”.
Mr.Nazarov has also informed that within the oil-chemical cluster of the Omsk region, the first technopark is established in the region. Concepts of key clusters of the region will be confirmed by the end of the year. “The main support of creation and development of clusters will become strengthening of inner cooperation and manufacturing connections of local enterprises. The region’s Government is eager to become a required integrator and communicator for provision of maximum efficient interaction process”, - noted the Governor in his speech to the regional Parliament.
A new technopark will be oriented on new technologies in the sphere of oil refining, catalyzes, technical carbon, chemical utilization of natural gas. Authorities of the region counts on infrastructure support of small and medium production companies, which are already eager to modern development implementation.
“In 2014 will be prepared for realization two projects of industrial parks within the clusters of oil processing and petro-chemistry and high-technology components and systems.
There will be created required conditions for future residents. Nowadays the Government and industrial companies make active and successful residents’ search, including foreign companies”, - assumed Mr.Nazarov.
