Arkady Dvorkovich took part in the International conference “Slush”

Arkady Dvorkovich took part in the International conference “Slush”Deputy Chairman of the Government Arkady Dvorkovich jointly with the Prime-Minister of Finland Jurki Katainen took part in the ceremony of the conference for Startups opening “Slush” in Helsinki.

Speaking at the ceremony, both Russian Vice-Premier and Finnish Prime-Minister have underlined the importance of such events, as the Forum, in which took part more than a thousand of companies.

In the course of a discussion Arkady Dvorkovich stated that Russia has various tools for support of new business-projects, including small business, Universities, innovation clusters. He also noted that Russian innovation market nowadays has thousands of companies, and all of them will be successful, however this market still is developing.

Arkady Dvorkovich and Jurki Katainen have also reviewed stands of the Forum participants, including the RVC and the “Skolkovo” Fund projects.

On the fields of the Forum the vice-premier has also conducted a meeting with the Minister of economy of Finland Jan Vapaavuori. They have discussed economic cooperation of two countries and required conditions of its development. Besides, there have been discussed questions on further simplification in the sphere of shipbuilding and others. The parties have also noted the barrier elimination in timber trading, which was interesting to Finnish partners.
