Rusnano, Russia?s nanotech giant, is considering allocating funds for the opening of one or two more nanotech centers in Russia in addition to the eleven already planned, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported, citing a statement by Rusnano president Anatoly Chubais. The nanotech center program to support nanotechnology projects kicked off in 2010. At the moment, there are three such centers, operating in Kazan, Ulyanovsk (both in the mid-Volga area), and in Siberia?s Novosibirsk.
