In Russia is forming a new market – corporate venture investments market

In the near three years the corporate venture investments market volume can comprise 10-12% of the whole volume of venture investments in the country. Several largest private and State companies are getting ready to announce about establishment of corporate venture funds. It is possible to know more at the first in Russia Corporate venture summit, which will be held in December 5, 2013 in Moscow with participation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, RVC, RusHydro, Rostelecom, Cisco, OMZ, Inter RAO and other Russian and foreign corporations.

Corporate venture investments as a tool for companies’ competitiveness increase are successfully used all over the world for more than 40 years, but for Russian this is quite a new activity.

According to estimation of experts from the iR&Dclub, in the near three years the corporate venture investments market in Russia can comprise about 17B RUB, which comprises approximately 10-12% of the whole volume of venture investments in the country. Several largest companies with the Governmental participation on venture summit are getting ready to announce about establishment of corporate venture funds.

The event is organized by the iR&Dclub and Publishing House “Kommersant” with support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and the “RVC”, JSC.

On the summit there will be considered the following subjects:
