The Zelenograd nanotechnology Center has been opened

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of ROSNANO Anatoly Chubais and director general of the Fund of infrastructural and educational programs Andrey Svinarenko have taken part in the ceremony of opening the Zelenograd nanotechnology Center. The total budget of the project comprises 2B RUB, herewith investments from ROSNANO in the project comprise 1,1B RUB. Partners and investors of the project are the “Zelenograd innovation-technology center”, CJSC and the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET).

The Zelenograd nanotechnology center is multifunctional cpomplex for development and production of goods of nanoelectronics and micro-system technique, and a field for developing new technological startups. Area of production capacities of the nanocenter comprises 1100 square meters, of which almost half comes to clean rooms.

In the Zelenograd nanotechnology center has been built modern infrastructure, which provides the total cycle of projecting and production of nanoelectronics amd micro-system technique (microelectromechanical systems, nanoelectromechanical systems and systems-on-a-chip), and has been established a line for adjustment and test conduction of functional and electrical goods parameters. Development and production of integrated microcircuit and semiconducting devices correspond to all requirements, which are given to modern electronic components production.

As of November, 2013 in the portfolio of the Zelenograd nanocenter there are 16 launched startups. More 20 projects are at the stage of consideration, these projects are of the sphere of electronics and clean technologies (energy save, energetics alternative) and biotechnologies. The total amount of own and attracted investments in technological projects at early stages in 2012-2013 years exceeded 200M RUB.

Peculiarity of the Zelenograd nanocenter is building of a complex infrastructure from investigations and projecting to production and tests. The project combines expertise in fundamental and applied science with modern manufacturing complex and financial resources, and also competencies on technologies transfer and attraction in projects of international partners and customers.
