The new German-Russian Institute of New Technologies will open in Tatarstan?s Kazan on September 1, 2014 to use German master?s degree curricula adapted to Russian requirements, Tatarstan regional portal 111kzn.ru reported. The new university will reportedly operate on the premises of Kazan?s KNITU-KAI Technical University. It is expected to start training top-notch specialists in IT, electronics, nanotechnology, economics, and mechanical engineering. Subjects will be taught by leading professors from Germany?s Magdeburg, Chemnitz, and Kottbus. The German Academic Exchange Service will be responsible for the professors? travel expenses. Students will be receiving a three-semester syllabus in Kazan and then moving to Germany for the fourth semester...
