Alexin Chemicals, a government-owned company in the Tula region, in Central Russia, and Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) are pushing their joint project aimed at setting up production of heat-resistant composite materials outside Tula, Rusnanonet.ru reported. Over the next two years the Tula regional firm hopes to introduce their new technology of manufacturing lightweight parts for projects in aerospace, motor vehicles and ships. In close collaboration with MSU as well as local universities, such as Tula State University and Lev Tolstoy Tula Pedagogical University, Alexin Chemicals will conduct a range of R&D work as stage one before full-cycle production is set up.
