The Penza region in the Volga area and Rusnano, Russia?s nanotech giant, are creating in the city of Penza the new Nanotechnology Commercialization Center (NCC), Rusnanonet.ru reported. The new Center will probably be located on the premises of Rameyev, the existing sizable techno-park in the region. According to Governor Yuri Krivov of the Penza region, NCC will be supporting projects developed by Rameyev park residents and also monitoring high tech efforts originating from universities?and not only those in the Penza region. As Gov. Krivov put it, the Center?s main goal is ?growing and nurturing start-ups.?
