Genetics and reproductive health project announced in Russia

The government-owned RVC Biofund and Human Stem Cells Institute, a private biotech company, have agreed to jointly push their medical genetics and reproductive health project in Russia

Human Stem Cells Institute (HSCI), a private Russian biotech company developing products and services in the field of cell, gene and post-genome technologies, has announced the signing of an investment agreement with the RVC Biofund, the government-owned investment arm of Russian Venture Company specializing in biotech investing. The agreement paves the way for creating in Russia a network of the Genetico medical centers aimed at developing what?s known as personalized medicine, a medical area based on individual approach to prevention, diagnostics and treatment of genetically conditioned diseases.
