The Russian developer pitched to the jury its tech vision system for the blind and visually impaired which offers a combination of navigation technologies and computer vision. According to Mikhail Demidov, a member of the jury and private Russian investor, Oriense, which was pronounced third, made a good presentation, showcased an operational prototype of its device, and has a realistic business model. Earlier the Russian start-up raised an investment from TMT Investments, a VC fund. In the final leg of the StartUp Cup held in Yerevan, in Armenia, seven finalist projects took part representing Pakistan, Egypt, Malaysia, Russia, the Philippines, Lebanon, and Ghana...
