Systematica, a Russian IT company, has developed a new RFID-based solution for contactless inventories of assets and archive processing automation, Cnews.ru reported. The new software and hardware complex called Regula RFID Identification reportedly steps up the process of stock-taking and is said to be able to take virtually no time to register objects within the area of a reader?s reach. The Regula uses passive RFID tags that require no power supply sources of their own, the developer said, which makes their service life ?basically limitless.? According to the source, the Regula provides ?high accuracy? in identifying object; it can reportedly monitor areas where assets and main documentation are stored and alert users whenever an object is moved. The Regula is also said to use a special API to ensure compatibility with most accounting software Russia currently uses and make it possible to integrate data into a variety of asset inventory and archive management systems...
