OAO Severstal has acquired a stake in Brazilian SPG Mineracao

OAO Severstal has acquired a 25% stake in Brazilian SPG Mineracao for $ 49 million, according to Severstal press release. In the company's report it’s noted that the abovementioned sum will be paid in tranches , and will finance the activities of the Brazilian iron ore company , operating in the Amapa state in northern Brazil.
