Intel and Runa invested in private experts search serviceInvestment funds Intel Capital and Runa Capital invested $2M each in online services aggregator Eruditor Group, which owns several websites to search services of private experts through the Internet - from doctors and tutors to repair crews. The funds received minority stakes, the exact amount of which is not reported, the founders of Eruditor Group retained the control over the aggregator.

Eruditor Group plans to spend most of the received funds on R&D, to develop custom interfaces and automation of internal processes of the company, as well as reaching the segment of mobile devices and new markets. For example, Masterdel.ru platform that unites repairmen, plumbers, electricians and others every household is occasionally needed in, was launched just over a month ago.

Eruditor Group was founded in 2007 by graduates of MIPT and specializes in developing services to find private specialists in various fields. The best-known service of the company are Your tutor that offers tutoring search in more than 30K professionals, and InfoDoktor, which is a search and appointment system to find doctors of private clinics. There are also some services in the beauty category, education and sports. All belonging to Eruditor sites have profiles of more than 100K professionals: users can choose any, and leave the feedback.

According to a co-founder of Eruditor Group Yegor Rudy, people care what specialist to work with, and online resources will help them to learn more about this or that expert.

In 2010, the company received $600K from a venture investor Igor Ryaben'kii. The company is profitable, and now we could live without investment, but want to move faster in the implementation of our plans, - Yegor Rudy says.
