Innovation contest to take place at a high-tech equipment exhibition in Omsk
Rostec State Corporation will conduct an open competition of innovative projects within the X International Exhibition of high-tech military equipment VTTV-Omsk-2013.
There will be several categories, including new innovative products and ideas. The winners will be included in a promotion and support programme of Rostec State Corporation.
The contest will allow its participants to estimate the readiness of their projects for commercialization, to find potential investors and partners.
The last VTTV - Omsk-2011 exhibition included ideas and innovative products of both known defense companies included in major Russian holdings, and small innovative enterprises based on higher educational institutions.
Omsk developments were among the best selected. In particular, the first place went to a flexible wheel project, making it possible to double the speed of a train. This project was developed as part of Siberian Mechanical Engineering Programme.
