Skolteh announced the collaboration with three corporations

Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology signed an agreement on cooperation in science, technology and education with JSC SPC Uralvagonzavod, JSC OPK Oboronprom and Intel company at the Open Innovations Forum.

The development of advanced materials and structures with high performance, as well as research and development activities in engineering will be conducted under the cooperation with Uralvagonzavod and Oboronprom. Moreover, the general director of Oboronprom Dmitry Lelikov admits the possibility that the technologies under the joint operation will be of dual purpose and find the application both in the defense industry and civil sphere.

According to Lelikov, this agreement makes it possible to access global advances in basic science, and involves the participation of the experts of the company in joint research activities. The co-financing of projects is also possible.

Intel and Skoltech will develop information technologies.
