Seedcamp accelerator to conduct a pre-selection of CIS startups in Kiev

Mini Seedcamp Kiev will take place on the 23rd of April in Kiev as part of Kiev Startup Week. There will be 10 entrepreneurs from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus to present their startups to the experts of leading European accelerator Seedcamp (UK). The local organizer of the event is GrowthUP business incubator (BVU Group) with the support of leading Ukrainian business school MIM-Kyiv.

Ten representatives of startup teams from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus will be able to present their projects to the experts of leading European accelerator Seedcamp (UK).

The programme includes: coaching sessions with the mentors of Seedcamp accelerator, a presentation of start-up teams, discussion panel and networking. Startups that would like to take part in the event, should register online at the website of AngelLis before April, 9.

The project of experts’ choice will have the opportunity to take part in Seedcamp Week Berlin, which will be held in May, 2013 and will bring together more than 150 mentors of Seedcamp. Then, it will be decided which of the selected local startups will join the accelerator.

Seedcamp is a seed investment fund with its startup acceleration programme. The accelerator conducts project selections on a monthly basis throughout the year. To date, the accelerator has invested in 90 most promising European startups, and some of them have already been sold. It was founded in 2007 by known VC Reshma Sohoni with the support of the majority of British venture capital funds.
