The Krasnoyarsk region in Siberia has unveiled plans to build its own $97m high tech industrial park, Russian news agency ITAR-TASS reports, citing a source in the regional Ministry of Investment and Innovation. According to the source, of the total amount, ?more than $65m is expected to come from private investors, with regional and federal coffers kicking in the rest.? The new techno-park is slated for completion ?within the next two years.? Under plans, the project will include construction of a production and laboratory area, experimental lab building, engineering and business centers, and an administrative building. The high tech park will be built next to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Business Incubator and is expected to accommodate 78 resident companies with a total staff of about 1,500 people.
