Started a contest for the projects in the sphere of new materials

Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology announced about a start of transnational contest within the limits the project M-ERA.

The project M-ERA (www.m-era.net) is called to finance projects in the sphere of new materials , and contribute in strengthening of cooperation between investigating organizations and small innovation enterprises, leading developments in this sphere.

In 2013 the contest is held by the following subjects:

- Integrated Computational Materials Engineering
- Interfaces, Surfaces and Coatings
- Composite Technology
- Materials for Health
- Materials for Sustainable and Affordable Low Carbon Energy Technologies.

The consortium, filing an application, should include minimum three organizations from two various countries. Investigating organizations, Universities and large companies can take part in the project, but from the Russia`s side the main applicant should be a small enterprise.

Applications filing will be held in two stages:

1) preliminary applications variants are taken up till October 30, 2013;
2) final applications variants – till March 25, 2014.
