Japan Venture Fund UMJ Russia became resident of IPOboardThe first Japan Venture Fund UMJ Russia became resident of IPOboard. UMJ Russia Fund – the only Japan venture Fund, created in 2007, and investing in Russian Technological Company.

Venture Fund is focused at exchange between Russian unique technologies, and business models, and technologies and capital of Japan companies, carrying on goods production. According to managing partner of the Fund UMJ Russia Yusuke Ozubo, the Fund`s strategy is in the projects` search, allowing to get “synergy effect jointly with Japan business”. Total in the portfolio UMJ Russia Fund there are 10 Russian Startups (including Teamo.ru и Gameland TV), 4 of which belong to the sector IT-Internet, 3 of which – “goods” sector, and also “media” and others.

Mr.Ozubo noted: “We are very glad to cooperate with IPOBoard. At the moment economy relations between Russia and Japan are continuously developing. The Japanese begin to understand that Russia – id the country not only of gas and oil, but also the country og high technologies with huge customs market. I hope that through cooperation with IPOBoard we will become one of the global players on Russian investment market”.
