Ingria made a bid for science and launched VC Day Ingria Future Science

Started an order taking on autumn investment session of business incubator “Ingria”. In the final of VC Day Ingria Future Science in October 3, 2013 the top 30 of science-driven projects will be presented to 30 representatives of leading venture Funds and core businesses at the VI Saint Petersburg International Innovation Forum.

VC Day Ingria – is regular event of a Business Incubator, representing a presentation of innovation projects, series of short pitches by Startups before investors and further individual meetings. Starting in 2012 investment sessions became a unique field for meetings and negotiations between innovation Startups, investors, and business angels with the aim of finance attraction into projects. In 2013 Ingria has conducted two sessions: for “iron” projects and on subject “IT for business”. There have been selected 175 projects from 15 cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Finland, and Germany, 55 presented their developments to investors.

Presenting a new session named VC Day Ingria Future Science, a team of Ingria is intended to select the best projects by directions Hightech (new materials, energetic and energy savings, robotronics, electronics, quantum technologies) and Lifescience (biotechnologies, pharmacy, medical equipment, mobile applications for medicine).

Pre-selection of participants will be held in August, 30 within the limits of Lynch for Early Birds. Experts of innovation subdivision of the group of companies Leorsa, which is a partner of VC Day Ingria Future Science, together with a Business Incubator Ingria will evaluate technological and economic potential of projects. While preparation to investment session, all the projects can attend educational webinars on the most actual topics for science-driven projects, from effective protection of intellectual property to investments attraction. In September, 26-27 on results of online pitches 30 projects will be selected for presentation to investors at innovation forum.
