Bankers give green light to five Nizhny Novgorod high-tech projects

Sberbank and Promsvyazbank are ready to finance five high-tech projects from the Sarov Techno-park outside Nizhny Novgorod developing technologies for the chemical, mining and IT sectors.

Investment experts from Sberbank, Russia?s largest savings bank, and Promsvyazbank, another sizable Russian bank, have completed assessment and approved for future funding five high-tech projects being developed in the Sarov Techno-park some 185km south of Nizhny Novgorod, in the mid-Volga area, the Sarov Techno-park PR department announced earlier this week. Evgeny Evdokimov, one of the Rusnano Infrafund directors and a member of Marchmont?s Advisory Board, is reported to have also participated in the project evaluation.
