Lecture about innovation accelerators will be conducted in the RIA Novosti

Lecture on the subject “Innovation accelerators” will be held in the press-center of the RIA Novosti on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in 18pm within the educational project “Tech in Media”.

The lecture will disclose base definitions and terms, which are used for description of business-accelerators. Participants will also be explained how business-accelerators fasten the process of the project entering the market: help in attraction of investments, create working conditions, give expert and information support.

Moderator of the lecture Andrey Reznichenko and representatives of the RVC Company will tell about the business-accelerator model on the example of the BIT contest and acceleration program “Generation S”. All volunteers, who are interested in this lecture, can register for participation at the site of the “Tech in Media” project. Also the event online-translation will be available at the site.

The contest of technological business-plans BIT has been conducted in Russia since 2003. The main aim of the BIT is to help innovation developments to enter the Russian and global market. In 2013 the RVC and the Department of science, industrial policy and entrepreneurship have taken expenses for Startups education, which have entered the semifinal of the BIT contest, on the base of acceleration field API Moscow of the Moscow Innovations Development Center.

The project RIA Novosti “Tech in Media”, within the limits of which meetings and master-classes with famous investors and Startups’ creators are conducted, is intended for journalists, bloggers and students of specialized faculties. The aim of the project is to increase competence of participants in the sphere of venture investments, and contribute to innovation journalism development.
