A portfolio Company SIF RVC receives the resident status of Tomsk SEZ
Sintegal, a portfolio company Seed Investment Fund of the Russian Venture Company received the resident status of special economic zone of technico-implementational type (SEZ TIT) in Tomsk. Sintegal proposed the project of development, registration and bringing to market the innovation medicine Galodif for the treatment of neurological diseases. The project was discussed and approved in December 2011 in Moscow at the meeting of the Expert Council on technico-implementational special economic zones and was carried out in partnership with Science, Technology, Medicine, Ltd. The result was the signing of the agreement on bringing into service of Sintegal Ltd.’s technico-implementational activity into SEZ TIT in Tomsk.According to RVC, under the agreement valid till January 1, 2017, the project is expected to invest at least 35.5 M RUR. The final outcome of the research is to be development and market launch of Galodif ‘s prolonged pharmaceutical form which will be used to treat epilepsy and alcoholism as well as the creation of new medicaments of different action spectra.

Sintegal Ltd. created in November 2010 aims at producing and launching Galodif to the Russian and foreign markets. The medicine is created to treat patients with such indications as epilepsy and alcohol addiction. Sintegal’s future prospects are to develop new medicines to treat neurological and infectious diseases, as well as radiocontrast medicines for diagnosing and treatment of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
The special economic zone of technico-implementational type in Tomsk (Tomsk SEZ) was established by the RF Government Decree of 21.12.2005 № 783 as the result of Tomsk region’s winning the federal competition for the selection of applications of the RF subjects to establish on their territories special economic zones of technico-implementational type.
