Twitter Investor to open a new investment fund for IT startups
Chris Sacca, the former Google senior executive, Twitter investor and venture capitalist, has announced that he is looking for investors for creating a new venture capital fund to finance Internet start-ups, Cnews.ru portal reports.
Chris Sacca’s first fund, Lowercase Spur LP, was opened in 2011 on his own money and is now also attracting foreign investors, reports the Business Insider. According to informed sources, the volume of the new fund can reach about $ 50 M.
To date, Lowercase Spur fund has already financed a number of promising startups, including Turntable.fm music service, Uber Technologies automotive service and the FanBridge online marketing company.
