IT-Startup Eurasia competition invites young IT-projects

Youth Eurasian Economic Forum will take place in Yekaterinburg on May 17-18; the II International IT-Startup Eurasia Competition will take place under the Forum. IT projects focused on monetization are invited to participate in the Competition. The winners will be given the opportunity to present their projects at the Innoprom 2012 exhibition in July.

Participants will receive the evaluation of highly qualified business and information technology experts. This makes it possible to adjust the project and attract the investment. Participants need to prepare a promotional video to present their project.

Three of the best works submitted will win; the winner gets the opportunity to participate in the Eurasia Young Innovators rating.

A great number of investment companies are involved to evaluate the participants, such as Glavstart, Startup Point and major Russian and foreign business incubators. It became known today that Yekaterinburg Red Button Capital Foundation (a partner of the contest) has promised a real investment offer for two projects

Applications for the IT-Startup Eurasia are accepted till May, 1. Part-time participation via Skype could be also possible.

In addition to the prizes and investment, the top 5 projects will be selected for the presentation at the Innoprom 2012 exhibition in July. A few favorite projects will be invited to the 42conf International Startup-Conference Exhibition, which will take place in Moscow on May 28-29, 2012.
