The Ukrainian startups rating winners announcedThe winners of the Ukrainian startups rating were announced during the iForum conference. The rating was first organized by Denis Dovgopol in 2009. The first experiment was successful, received considerable feedback and attracted the attention of experts.

In 2011 it was decided having refined the rules according to the feedback to make this ranking annual. The Ukrainian Startups rating welcomed online companies and software producers, created by the Ukrainians, working in the Ukrainian market, with more than 40% of Ukrainian traffic or having received investment from a Ukrainian investor. At least one of these parameters was needed for participation. In addition, a start must either be created or brought to market, or release a new product to market, or obtain investment in 2011.

5 nominations are set out in the Rating: Overall Rating, Global start-ups rating, Quick Start, Rating of transactions, Personality of the Year. Everyone could read the rules before the rating, the experts board who selected the startups in the first stage, and Rating partners.

1st place: ExpoPromoter
2nd place: BPMOnline (SaaS online-CRM)
3rd place: Jelastic (cloud development platform)

The winners of the category Quick Start 2011 are:

1st place: Zakaz.UA
2nd place: ExpoPromoter
3rd place: Runfaces (video meetings social platform)

The winners of the category The transaction of the Year 2011 are:

1st place: Purchasing KP Media by UMH holding
2nd place: Purchasing I.UA by UMH holding
3rd place: Investing in Pokupon

The winners of the category Personality of the Year 2011 are:

1st place: Boris Lozhkin (media businessman, the UMH President)
2nd Place: Victoria Tigipko (the head of TA Ventures Venture Fund)
3rd place: Alexander Olshansky (the President of Imena.UA, the head of Ashmanov and partners -Ukraine, the chairman of IAU)
