HSE business incubator’s residents reach a turnover of 45M RUR in 2012

Two competitive selections took place at HSE business incubator over the past year, and 23 companies became the residents of the incubator. They were selected out of 58 projects that passed the first stage of selection, and the total of 146 companies expressed their desire to join the business incubator in 2012.

8 out of 23 selected teams became the residents for free.

According to the representatives of the incubator, most resident companies (10 projects) operate in the b2b segment and internet marketing. There are only three infrastructure projects (staff and research solutions), and six start-ups related to production and biotechnology.

The residents of the business incubator have received a total of almost 63M RUR in 2012 for their developments. The minimum amount of investment received by a project is 500K RUR, the maximum – 20M RUR.

Six residents of the business incubator are still at the prototype stage, and, unfortunately, they have nothing to sell, - HSE {Inc} says. However, 13 projects have achieved an annual turnover of 45M RUR. In addition, the resident of the incubator created 91 jobs over the past year.
