Cisco and Skolkovo to do joint RandD and train innovation managers

Cisco and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology have agreed to pool their efforts in improving the training of Russian innovation managers and doing joint RandD.

Cisco and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) have agreed to pool their efforts in improving the training of Russian innovation managers and doing joint R&D, a source in Cisco Systems Russia told Marchmont late last week. The cooperation was formally agreed upon in the wake of a meeting held on April 24 by the Innovation Working Group of the U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission in Washington, DC. Under the terms of the agreement, the partners will work out joint programs to improve the development of a skilled cadre of innovation managers in Russia and stimulate competition among Russian scientific and engineering entities.
