Accenture, a global US-based management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, is opening its forecast analytics center in Skolkovo.

Accenture, a global US-based management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, is opening its forecast analytics center in Skolkovo, the government-sponsored innovation hub under construction just outside Moscow, the Skolkovo Foundation website announced. The company?s new solutions will be used in business planning and decision-making, the source said. At the inception phase of its operation, the new Accenture center is expected to focus on the development of corporate solutions for energy and oil/gas companies. Over the next two years the center will engage in research into ways of tapping mobile technologies for testing and monitoring industrial equipment, as well as in the development of forecasting algorithms for collecting and processing telemetry data. The new center, to employ both Russian and international experts, is expected to start operation later this month and reach its full capacity by the end of 2014...
