Nikolay Nikiforov met with IT-companies of the Silicon Valley in USA

The Minister for Communications and the Media of Russian Federation Nikolay Nikiforov has conducted several meetings with IT-companies and Russian speaking citizens of the Silicon Valley in USA. A business trip ended with executive retreat with Russian speaking citizens of the Silicon Valley, at which the Minister said about the most important initiatives of the Ministry of Communications and the Media of Russian Federation.

Visiting the Silicon Valley started with the meeting with Russian-American Startup Grid Gain, which was founded by two immigrants from Russia, living in USA during 15 years. The trip continued with visit in the Google Company office. Russian delegation examined the office and discussed a range of projects, which can be realized taking into consideration needs of Russia. The next meeting was held in office of American-Ukrainian Startup Hover.

In the course of the visit Nikolay Nikiforov and Russian delegation have also observed the Intel Museum and Office, Facebook campus, and center of innovative developments AT&T. In the end of the visit of IT-company Nikolay Nikiforov has met with founders of International Startup SoftMachines with center of development in Moscow.

At the meeting with Russian speaking citizens in the Silicon Valley Nikolay Nikiforov said about his visit to USA and all the most important initiatives of the Ministry on informative-communicative branch reforming of Russia. He underlines that the visit to Silicon Valley is a good opportunity to examine and implement experience of successful development, application and commercialization of innovations in Russia.
