Rusnano, Russia?s nanotech giant, and Russian composite developer Compozit have opened in Moscow Russia?s first Nanotech Composite Center to launch new start-ups in this sector.
Rusnano, Russia?s nanotech giant, and Russian composite developer Compozit have opened in Moscow Russia?s first Nanotech Composite Center (NCC), Rusnano announced earlier this month. In this $83m effort, the Rusnano InfraFund, Rusnano?s infrastructure investment arm, has kicked in more than $33m, the company emphasized. The new Nanotech Center will aim to prepare and launch start-ups to work on polymer composite materials for a range of economic sectors, including energy, real estate development, defense-related programs, shipbuilding, car making, telecommunications, and FMCG. The NCC is also expected to invest in venture and industrial projects. The Center will focus on developing a full range of engineering services, from technology R&D and modeling to prototyping, to testing, to small-scale manufacture, and is also designed to oversee the introduction of new technology at Russian industrial companies...
