Significance of the Forum Interra has been discussed within the limits of show “National interest”

The show “National interest”, devoted to International innovation Forum, guests of which became organizations and participants of Interra, went on the air on Saturday, August, 17, in 11:05 on the TV channel “Russia 1 – Novosibirsk”.

Expecting the fifth anniversary Forum, a host of the program Yekaterina Kuznetsova has increased a question, actual for city citizens for almost several years: “What for Interra?” Guests of a studio have answered with reasons, confirming importance of the Forum of international scale conduction in Siberia. Most guests paid attention at the fact that Interra favorably influences an image of the Novosibirsk, and also the fact that during fields` work there are people from different cities and countries, advantageous agreements are executed, innovation projects get the Government support.

“There is a phrase: “sense of any activity lies out of its limits”. Being a specialist in the sphere of territories marketing, I can say that Interra contributed to reputation and recognizability of the Novosibirsk and its region at the qualitative level, - says Dmitry Petrov, a managing partner of the marketing agency B-52. – Positive mention of the city increases several times during the Forum conduction, and immediately after it. This means that region`s rating increases. For the region itself Interra acted a part of accelerator, and brought about a whole range of events: the Forum “Technoprom”, “Snow Forum” and many others. Interra became a sample event, all mass events this or that way are compared to it”.

Yevgeniya Pecherina, a chief of volunteer sector of the Forum also confirms these aspects. According to her, “Interra is needed for birth of newness: new technologies, ideas, senses, projects, for making contacts and executing partnerships”. This year volunteers of Interra have visited the Universiade in Kazan, and intend to apply the experience during a work of the Forum here, in the Novosibirsk.

As an opposition, a host has presented negative responses of the city citizens, put on the Internet, and connected to misunderstanding of a need of the Forum Interra, and also with complaint on high expenses on the Forum. Director of the Forum Lada Yurchenko has denied rumors referred to financial and organizational side of the Forum conduction, and at specific examples has proved efficiency of the Forum work.

Concluding the discussion guests said their opinions about future Forum Interra. There has been announced numerous variants and offers on the Forum development, but it was unanimously resolved by the guests that Interra for a long time will successfully work for the city and Siberia development.
