A new scientific laboratory complex for high-tech projects is opening these days in Stavropol-based Northern Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) in South Russia, regional portal Stavropol News reported. The brand new five-storey building is reportedly offering 5,800 square meters of educational halls and research labs to be used by students and professors of NCFU?s institutes of electrical energy, electronics, and nanotechnology. A considerable part of the total area includes what?s known as ?clean rooms??facilities that have a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles or chemical vapors.
