Hydrocarbon and coal extraction innovations presented in Russia?s Yakutsk

Earlier this week, Skolkovo resident companies presented in Yakutsk, the capital of Sakha Yakutia in Russia?s Far East, their projects for oil and gas sector as well as mining companies, Sakha Information Agency reported. For example, Gazohim Techno presented the technology of processing natural gas into synthetic oil, followed by production of boiler and diesel fuel. According to Sergey Dolinsky, the CEO of the company, it would solve the problem of substitution for expensive fuel oil imports. He said that the trial launch of gas and chemical production is slated for next year; the company hopes to use the premises of Sakhatransneftegaz, an existing local oil and gas company. To push the endeavor, Gazohim Techno will reportedly use a Skolkovo grant and support from Yakutia Venture Company, to be added to its own funds...
