Trivon AG, a Swiss-based company controlled by Sir Richard Branson and operating in Russia under the Virgin Connect brand, has acquired 100% of MegaMax, one of the leading B2B broadband and telecom operators in Nizhny Novgorod, in the mid-Volga area. According to East-West Digital News, the first all English-language online resource dedicated to Russian digital industries reporting the news, the terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The MegaMax Group has developed its own extensive fiber optic network and portfolio of high quality business services in the region.
