Following a string of push-backs and general uncertainty, Russia?s Hevel Solar and the Chuvashia regional government have set next February as what is hoped to be the final deadline for the long-awaited launch of thin-film solar module production in Novocheboksarsk, in the mid-Volga area, interregional portal Regnum reported earlier this week. According to a statement by Novocheboksarsk city officials, by that time all factory facilities will be completed and put into operation. At the moment, commissioning work is still under way and equipment is being gradually launched for a run-in. Hevel is also hiring personnel; a reported 140 people are already employed...
