Russian Quantum Center launches new labs and powerful laser system

The Russian Quantum Center (RQC), located in the Skolkovo innovation hub just outside Moscow, has recently launched three new labs, the RQC website announced. The new labs, fully equipped to research into quantum physics and applied quantum technologies, are designed to help scientists work on projects in the field of quantum optics, quantum simulators and photonics. According to Ruslan Yunusov, the RQC director, the labs are already operational and scientists can conduct experiments there. Plans for next year include the opening of three more laboratories. In addition to opening the labs, RQC has also announced the launch of the world?s first laser system with a pulse capacity of 400GW, possessing ?unique properties.? With equipment like this RQC joins the world?s leading scientific centers, noted Sergei Belousov, the founder of Quantum Wave, the first Russian venture fund to focus on quantum technologies...
