Genetics and reproductive health project announced in Russia
The government-owned RVC Biofund and Human Stem Cells Institute, a private biotech company, have agreed to jointly push their medical genetics and reproductive health project in Russia
Human Stem Cells Institute (HSCI), a private Russian biotech company developing products and services in the field of cell, gene and post-genome technologies, has announced the signing of an investment agreement with the RVC Biofund, the government-owned investment arm of Russian Venture Company specializing in biotech investing. The agreement paves the way for creating in Russia a network of the Genetico medical centers aimed at developing what?s known as personalized medicine, a medical area based on individual approach to prevention, diagnostics and treatment of genetically conditioned diseases. The project also calls for the development of services of HSCI?s reproductive cell and tissue bank (storage and donation)...
