BIT-2012 competition regional stage completed

On March 31 Business of Innovative Technologies in Siberia 2012 business projects contest finals were held in Tomsk. 20 teams from Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Biisk, Kemerovo and other cities participated in the event. As guests and experts were invited the representatives of the authorities, investment companies, entrepreneurs and business angels from Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as the representatives of the contest sponsors, including companies RVC, the Skolkovo Fund and others.

The winners are Prism LLC, Artificial Intelligence LLC and NanoConsultant LLC. All of them will participate in the All-Russian BIT Contest and will have a chance to claim for the finals prize of 3 M RUR.

All contest prizes went to the residents of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Business Incubator, the level of all these projects was highly appreciated by the jury. According to Andrei Gnezdilov, the Deputy Governor, High evaluation of business incubator residents’ projects confirmed the correctness of the selected in the region direction towards innovation development. Participation in the contest gives the Krasnoyarsk innovators an opportunity to get acquainted with the prospective investors who have already expressed interest in cooperation.

Business of Innovative Technologies Entrepreneurial Competition has been held in Russia for 9 years. It includes such regional competitions as BIT St. Petersburg, BIT Volga, BIT Far East, BIT Siberia, as well as competitions BIT Financial Academy and HSE {10K}, conducted by Higher School of Economics . BIT competition is based on the principles of the most successful entrepreneurs competition MIT $ 100K, conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1990. This is not just a contest of innovative ideas, it’s also a contest of business plans and instructions that can turn good ideas into successful businesses.
